Q1. How can I subscribe Handset to the base station?

A. To subscribe the handset you need authentication code of the base station (AC or Base pin – default pin is 1111)
> from your handset menu go to > Network > Subscribe > Enter AC > default pin 1111 > re-enter the pin

Q2. I cannot switch on the cordless phone by pressing for at least two seconds. Why?

A. Put the cordless phone in the charger. If the display comes on, the battery is almost flat. Leave the cordless phone in the charger to charge the battery.
If the display remains off after charging, the cordless phone is defective or the battery is not properly connected or may need replacing.

Q3. I know that someone is calling me, but the ring signal is not ringing. Why not?

A. If you can see the ring off icon, it means that the volume of the ring signal has been set to zero, or the ring signal is switched off temporarily. If the ring signal has been switched off temporarily, it comes back on when you hang up.

Q4. I hear a warning tone and the signal strength indicator is not shown. What is wrong?

A. The cordless phone is not connected to the network. The cordless phone is probably out of range. Bring the cordless phone back within range of the network.
It is also possible that the cordless phone has not been subscribed or that the subscription has been cancelled.

Q5. I hear a warning tone and the battery icon is flashing. What is wrong?

A. The battery is almost flat. Put the cordless phone in the charger to charge the battery.

Q6. I cannot use the phone book. What is wrong?

A. The phone book in the cordless phone might be empty. To make use of the phone book, you have to add a few names and numbers.

Q7. I can not use the handset to make calls or receive calls

A. In the event of power failure or strike by lightning, you can not use the handset to make calls or receive calls because the base station is faulty and need to be replaced.
It will give an engage signal when someone try to calls the line that connected to the base station and when you try to calls out it would display external line disconnected.

Q8. When I talk on the phone there is noise or static

A. The earpiece is faulty and need to be repaired.

Q9. I do not hear anything when I pick up the handset and red light flashing

A. The external line disconnected or base station faulty.

Q10. I have placed the handset in the base station but the green charging light does not come on

A. The charging contacts are dirty and need to be cleaned by contact cleaner or the charging base station is faulty and need to be replaced.

Q11. I can not hear the person talk on the other side

A. The earpiece is faulty and need to be repaired.

Q12. The person on the other side can not hear me

A. The mouth piece is faulty and need to be repaired.

Q14. There are no messages on the answering machine

A. Check that the answering machine is switched on. The green light on the top of the base station and the message icon on the handset display should be on.

Q15. I can not hear any thing through the base station loudspeaker

A. The base station loudspeaker can be used during answering machine and base station handfree use. Make sure that the volume is set to an appropriate level.
Press the volume up button on the base station to raise the volume level.

If it still did not work, this means the base station loudspeaker is faulty.

Q17. I got backdoor display on my handset

A. You have entered an incorrect pin code 3 times in a row. You have to enter the IPEI number (13 digits) and if you do not have this number you can go to our online store and we can regenerate the code for you and reset the PIN. The cost is $20.

Q18. The handset displays “no network”

A. The handset has dropped out of the network, you need to re-subscribe the handset to the base station.

Q20. How can I set the time and date?

A. The base station contains a built-in clock for the time and date. The handset shows the time and date on the standby display when the time and date have been set.

To set the time: From your handset menu route to: Basestation > Settings > Basic > Enter AC pin (default is 1111) > Time&Date > SetTime

To set the date: From your handset menu route to: Basestation > Settings > Basic > enter AC pin (default is 1111) > Time&Date > SetDate

Q21. How can I set a call waiting or receive a second call?

A. To set the call waiting: From your handset menu route to: Basestation > Settings > Access > CallWaiting

To receive a second call: If you are engage on an internal call to another handset and an external call comes in, you are notify by two short beeps in your earpiece at regular intervals. You can either finish the current call or put the current call on hold to answer the external call. If you do not answer the external call, another handset or the answering machine can take the call.

To finish the current call and answer the external call: press NO and press YES to answer the external call.

To put the current call on hold and answer the external call: Press R to answer the external call. You now have three options.

  1. Continue the internal call press INT.
  2. Transfer the external call using NO.
  3. Continue the call as a three-party call by pressing 3

In a three-party call, the external call is connected to two handsets and you can have conversation with two people at the same time.
